Christy's rise to stardom begin by winning the Miss Montreal Chinatown in 1992. Then, her fame took off in 1993 after winning the TVB Miss Chinese International Pagent. At that time, she was a pure ABC unable to speak any chinese. She later learn Cantonese in order to jump start a movie career in Hong Kong.
Christy has appeared in over 20 films including "Bodyguard from Beijing" , a Jet Li film.
